I'm Dan. I've spent years working in NHS MSK services, treating everything from post-op rehab to chronic pain. I've seen what works and what doesn't. And I've seen too many people get handed a generic exercise sheet and told to "just rest."

That's not how I work. If you're a runner, I want to know your training plan. If you're a lifter, I want to see your form. If you're just trying to get through the day without your back screaming at you, I want to understand what's causing it. Then we build a plan that actually fits your life.

I graduated with a sports and exercise science degree in 2009 and completed my masters Degree in Physiotherapy at York St John in 2022, where I was awarded the dissertation reseach prize.

The clinic

EverBody Physio York is a specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) clinic led by a Senior NHS MSK Clinician. Located exclusively within The Gym Group, York (Foss Islands), we provide expert injury assessment, sports massage, and performance rehabilitation for both gym members and the general public. Benefit from 2 hours of free validated parking and professional clinical care in a modern setting. No gym membership is required.

We specialize in evidence-based treatments for back pain, sciatica, sports injuries, and post-operative rehab. We understand everybody recovers in different ways. Our aim is to understand what's important to you! We will provide personalised treatment and create a step by step plan. We'll use specialist equipment, and evidence based assessment techniques throughout every step of your recovery so you know your making progress.

Our clinic is situated in a private clinic / treatment room next to the gym lobby. When you arrive, access to us is through the main gym entrance. You don't need any codes to access the main gym lobby, the door will be open. Take a seat in waiting area and we will come and meet you at your appointment time. We have access to the gym floor and equipment should we need this for your rehab sessions
